JSWISS and Sly5thAve perform their debut, critically acclaimed project Somebody’s Gotta Do It for the first time live at the Austin Area Heritage Council’s MLK Community Festival on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Austin, Texas. The event takes place at Hutson-Tillotson University from 11:15 am to 3:30 pm, following the morning community march, and is free to the public. Food donations to the Central Texas Food Bank are encouraged.

Hosted by accomplished WNYC radio personalities, this commemorative and uplifting event brings together artists, scholars, cultural and community leaders, and activists to engage in conversations and performance exploring Dr. King’s legacy and how his work is continued today.
