Life is fulfilling when you love something (or someone) enough that you’re willing to deal with all the hardships that might come along with it. That’s the idea behind the song and brand new video for “Dedicate.LoveSomethin” off of JSWISS’ No Music EP.
The music video is directed by Stephen Mucci and edited by John Holowitz, while the song is produced by Brady Watt, one of the first artists on DJ Premier‘s TTT record label and a go-to bassist for the likes of Premier, Talib Kweli and Statik Selektah, both on record and on stage. The visuals feature three incredible athletes: decorated saber fencers and USA Fencing national team members Kamali and Khalil Thompson, as well as Eduard Checo, founder of the Barstarzz, a group of calisthenics fitness enthusiasts with more than 140 million views online on YouTube alone. Enjoy the powerful and beautiful visuals.

Last night JSWISS made history as the first hip-hop artist to perform at the NY Botanical Garden in the Bronx in the Garden’s storied century-long history. JSWISS and his band were invited to perform all night for a sold out crowd of 3,000+ during Chihuly Nights, showcasing the works of glass artist Dale Chihuly. Making history and moving crowds.
JSWISS and guitarist Wes Mingus, who has played on albums from the Wu-Tang Clan and Ghostface Killah separately, packed the house at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City for a unique duo show that featured Wes crafting all of the music on baritone guitar and loop pedal. They also invited No9to5’s own Chandanie and well as emcee Silent Knight, saxophonist Atsushi Ouchi and trumpeter Matt Giella into the mix as guests throughout.
